Lost Creek

Lost Creek
A brooklet is a wandering poetry
Constant in its direction
Yet fluid in its ways
An ever changing constant, aware
Of the fickle winds and weathers
In these moments all these come together
Creating the magnificently peaceful masterpiece

This constant power is being released
Changing every rock and form
The sunlight becomes just a little too warm
So I’ll move my path’s direction
The blue-black fly lands on my crease
Interrupting the serene reflections
But the autumn wind whisks it away
The winds speak of the coming snows
No courage can the creeping thing muster
It hurries on out of my natural space
A memory like this cannot be erased
A  forever monument is forever created
In the midst of this wandering way

It is a good day

Motion

Motion

Lonely
Disenfranchised
Longing

Hoping
Cared for
Loved
Accepted
Family
Favored one
Favorite one
Placed on Father’s shoulder
Whispering in His ear
Feeling His laugh through my being
No longer alone
No longer alone
I am one with the Creator of the universe
He laughs with me
I am no longer alone
I never was alone
Reality is such an incredible thing
There is nothing like being with Dad
His laugh seems to always open my eyes
He heals my heart
Accepted
Welcome
Home

Dawn in the Upper Window

Dawn in the Upper Window

I awake to a sliver of light
Dancing through the upper window
I see clouds running to the west
In search for gold and rest
Just like the men below
Quaking in their fright

Suddenly the birds appear
Moving like the sonic wave
And just as suddenly they are gone
Always moving as is their home
In the forgiveness they danced and forgave
So in their height there is no fear

The barren tree lifts arms to sky
The winds they cause his arms to swing
The motion swirls now with the clouds
The sunlight does remove the shrouds
Life is coming in the spring; life is coming in the spring
We still can’t answer the question “Why?”

The upper limbs form Sophocles’ mask
One side laughs, the other side grim
Yet the wind moves on this shattered grin
You know not where, you know not when
You know not who, you just know of Him
You are at the place where you can ask

The sliver has erupted into majestic beams
The clouds are crowned with gold and light
Their motion breathless through the heavens
I close my eyes and feel the seven’s
For now there can be no more night
Love is now the dancing seam

Motion

Motion

I love to study each and every wave
Especially the ones close to the shore
Every single one created by a push
Created by a pull
Sent forth by a breath of wind
Drawn forth by a dream or so it seems
And the closer it comes
The more it reflects the light
When the timing is just right
Oh what goodness is seen at the shore!
I think I will go forth and look some more
I think I will go and enter the mystery
That is displayed by the beauty and the depths of the sea
